ac control fitment
i'm putting my cab back togather. i got to the ac controls and i just don't like the way they fit. they seem to fit to far back in the hole and worst of all they sit angled way low on the behind the dash side. i tried a different bracket but that didn't help at all. anyone else have this problem. it seems like it needs another hanger in the rear like the radio

Re: ac control fitment
The AC controler has an adaptor that goes between the dash lower rail and the AC controler. If you look at the distance between the holes you will notice the dash is different than the controls. The adaptor screws to the controls and then the adaptor is fastened to the dash. This should put the controls in the right spot.

Re: ac control fitment
I have heard that the factory brackets get weak and let the controls sag in the back. You might be able to fab a new bracket or a support bracket for the back. Vintage Air sells the bracket new for less than $10.
