parting 71 chevy 1/2

I just hauled this one in. Has PS on it, good shroud, alt brackets etc. Not sure what year the motor is, can anyone help me by ID'ing the exhaust manifolds. I'll try to get a number off the block later. Everything is for sale just ask and I'll price. Thanks Randy

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

Here is what the block numbers are 19J269043 V0527HV.
They look a little different than 80's to me but I'm not sure, probably are. Yes the inside has all been painted RED
Thanks Randy

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

Het Randy, inerested in the door panels, any damage to them? Also, do you have any rear sport bumper brackets for a 71 Blazer, need all 4. Shipping is to 55060.

Thanks, Scott

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

Toast, Jim, for the all linkage and brake pedal setup $50 plus shipping. I'll have to pull it all out to get you a accurate shipping price. It would Mon or Tues before I could get to that, let me know if you want me to get it all out. I'd guess shipping $20-25 but not sure
Scott, I'm at work right now, I'll check them out, I know I have another set of door panels in the shed too. No bumper brackets right now.
Thanks Randy

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

motor run?

thats an L-79 327... 65 is the first year for them. it should have 11:1 pistons, a forges steel crank, hydraulic .447" cam and a factory windage tray... if it has the vette oil pan.

if everything is machineable, or still in good shape it would be worth AT LEAST $500... more if it runs

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

All depending on the orignality and quality of the motor. Ive got 130 some 327s, as well as more engines. My dad can tell if there has ever been a bolt removed on one of them (raced 327s for 20 some years, held a few world records in the AHRA, etc)

Re: parting 71 chevy 1/2

Randy, There is a Corvette board like ours. I think it is called "Corvette Forum". I just sold a 427 Tripower intake and carbs for $2500.00 on that board.

That motor should be worth a few dollars. Nice find.

Not sure I need one yet but how much for the front suspension crossmember only?

How much for the PS pump brackets. That 327/350 should have had a Holley on it.
