Re: lilred67 finally home
Hey lilred...looks good, how long was it at the body shop? Seems like everyone has a problem with getting the paint finished at the bodyshop....just brought my 68 home, 370 days at the shop and one front fender smoothed and prepped, glad to have it back home anyhow!!

Rusty..... now you need to have a cook-out @ your place. Invite some buddies over to eat & have some cold 'frostys'. Oh.... & tell 'em not to forget to bring some tools.
Lookin' good my friend!

Re: lilred67 finally home
i first starting taking it apart and doing what i could myself back in jan,'05. the guy that painted it finally got caught up and had me bring it to him in jun,'06 i think.....(gave me time to save some $$$$$) so he had it at least a year. alot of these bodyshops get there big money from insurance jobs and they push these to the back of the shop and work on them whenever.i feel lucky to get it back in a year because there are 2 jobs like mine that are still there and where there before mine!(dodge lilred express & '69-72 sub)..
thanks for all the comments. scoti i'll keep you posted on the get-to-gether....... rusty |
