cups for the front
so i didnt ever install the lower cups when i bagged the front of my 86 swb. i got a flat yesterday and decided to check my air stuff while i was down there. and sure enough, i am rubbing slightly. so now im putting cups in. but i just upsized my tires to a 29 inch tall package. i heard people cut them down to lay all the way down. how tall are your lower cups?

Re: cups for the front
I'm about to cut/install mine and I've been researching this myself. It seems most guys like them cut down to 1". One or two guys have reported that 3/4" worked fine too. I'm going with 1".

Re: cups for the front
We send the lower cups out at 1" with our kits. You can go down to a 3/4" tall cup if you want to. Either way is fine but just make sure you run that lower cup. I've seen several peopl on here who aren't doing so and they're just waiting to experience a bag failure.
If you need some lower cup rings built, you can always PM me about some and I can help you with them. We can built any size you need.
