70' Blazer on 80' Blazer frame?
The vehicle is:
1970 K5 Blazer 4x4 6cyl Manual Drum Brakes in front I'm was considering going the 2WD route, and slamming it on 20's or 22's.... I found a 1980 2WD K5 Blazer for cheap, it already has disc brakes and a 350/Auto. Will the 70 body bolt up to the 80 frame? It would definitely make life easier.... Any help is appreciated |

The frames are longer on the newer k5s and arent shaped the same.

I think they have a shorter wheel base and you will most likely have to move around body mounts. But that 2wd would be good for the suspenion and drive train. I think that would be the better way to do it

Re: 70' Blazer on 80' Blazer frame?
69-72 Blazers have a 104 inch wheelbase. 73-91? Blazers have a 106.5 inch wheelbase...

Rob everything you can, use the 70 frame and covert it to a 2wd
