WIW 3/4t Axles

I'll be removing the 3/4t axles from my truck here shortly to replace them with some 1/2t ones from a donor truck.

What are these axles worth? I'm unsure of the gear ratio at the moment.

Dana 44 closed knuckle w-drum brakes up front

Eaton/HO52 w-drum brakes in the rear

I'd say $150-$200 for the pair. The rear would be worth the most since the front is a closed knuckle.

Re: WIW 3/4t Axles

I`d say around $300.A pair of 8-luggers is a cool upgrade for the zillion 1/2tons out there. The slightly antiquated axles wouldn`t be such a drawback on a custom-build.They also have a value to the limited original restoration crowd. You may need to sell for $150-200,but let them go to use and not scrap, whatever you do.The parts are worth $150-200.

Re: WIW 3/4t Axles

I a'm also removing my closed knuckle axle out of my 67 3/4 ton 4x4, I will have a spare 3/4 ton closed knuckle with no new home.
