Just another new guy from New Mexico
Howdy. I'm just another new person to the site. Cant wait to get help from ya'll and give what little help I have. I'm new to the wrenching world. All i've ever done is maintained the engine enough to keep it running. Now I've got two project trucks that need a lot of tlc. I have a 1965 C-10 SB stepside and a 1962 GMC longbed wideside that I will be accepting today. I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures on this forum. Any help would be appretiated. I know pictures help so much when trying to explain something. Tips and suggestions are always welcome. I need all the help I can get.

Re: Just another new guy from New Mexico
The 62 has arrived! Here are the first pics. Please remeber this truck came straight out of the junkyard, so another one saved from the crusher!!
Needs a trans head and tail lights and some tlc and this bad boy will be back on the road again. I'll finally have something with enough motor to pull my 65 home.

Re: Just another new guy from New Mexico
I almost forgot to ask. Does anybody know where I can get a grille for this truck. I've looked everywhere and haven't seen one yet for the 60-65 GMC's. Mine is a custom so the chrome grille is what i'd like to find.

It's $25 a year to be a supporter. That lets you place ads on the boards. I'm not sure which ads you can interact with without paying but maybe one of the mods will jump in and tell you. Any mods out there? If you allready know this my bad. Godd luck finding the grill. -Jason

Stepside65, I'm beginning to think there are more of us out here they just don't want to admit it. Sweet.

Re: Just another new guy from New Mexico
That would not suprize me in the slightest CJ5. I know there's at least 6 or 7 67-83 trucks on this base alone. I've seen 4 other 60-66's in town.
