Re: progress pics
nice looking project.
Got any install pics of that later model column? How hard was it. I had planned on that originally but came up with a 72 tilt.

no install pics, camera batteries were dead that day. it was tougher to install than i thought it would be , had to do alot more cutting to the brake/clutch bracket than i thought and its was still a really tight fit. had to move the ignition switch, and make a cover for the rods from ignition and blinker switches to keep them from getting jammed up. i will have to pull the column back out to paint so ill see if i can get some more pics then. thanks for all the comments, will keep this thread updated. let me know if you guys have any questions on what ive done. |

Re: progress pics
yes, want to still be able to use the bed and dont really like the look of a tank in the bed so i got the long skinny tank. also plan on mounting the compressor and valves back there on the sides of the tank and building a box around them with flip up lid for access. going to use the sound deadner inside those boxes and carpet the outside so hopefully i wont have too much noise. not planning on hopping the truck around much anyway, just drop it when i park and bring it back up to ride height. im at the point now that i have all of my parts here , took the next 5 days off work so im going to try and get as much done as i can. have been working on it every min after i get home from work and eat for the past 2 weeks but dont feel like ive accomplished alot. ill keep snapping pics as i go so ill keep em coming.
