Why dont I have an exhaust leak?

I just was shocked to see that my 71 has 3 header bolts missing...not 3 here and there, but 3 in a row...by plugs #1 and #3 behind the alternator I have no exhaust leak

Anyone ever seen this before Why isnt it leaking?

Re: Why dont I have an exhaust leak?

The header material looks to be > ~3/8" thick so in the short you will be ok. But you should consider yourself on borrowed time. I would install the missing bolts.
