I agree, 1Lo. Mine needs to be in the junkyard, I guess. Actually...sometimes I think it does.

Re: Pics of my 67 "beater"

I think hes calling it a "BEATER" because I have been beating him up about getting it on road for a looooooooooooong time now. It has been so close for , oh THE LAST YEAR!!!!

its going to be cool , and I cant wait to drive it and smoke those rear tires, because I know he will wnt to do it to mine.

You guys should have been here this morning when Corie drove it for the 3rd time since he bought it, grin from ear to ear, just like a kid that got a new toy.

Ok, If yours is a beater, whats mine called?
Its a '68 Shortwide, will be a 350/TH350. I'm about to throw in a 3.07 5-lug rearend, hopefully will find a 3.73 posi somewhere cheap, painting it white as you can see from interior already being painted. Adding 2-1/2" drop spindles with 235/75-15's up front with 5" ECE coils with 255/70-15's in rear. Have a Goodmark cowl hood (Thanks Glock35ipsc) and relocating fuel tank to rear (Tanks, Inc) removing all trim and emblems including grille emblem and hood letters. Other that those mods, mostly stock body. Will probably run a radio delete plate with stereo in glove box.
Only things I'm currently needing for it are usable interior pieces such as black bench seat and dash pad, I have everything else to put it together. Hopefully be on the road by late winter or early summer 2008...

*In pic below it's sitting on the bump stops ,stock suspension with no springs in it at all*
