that's cool. i've thought for several years now about taking an old school bus (which are dirt cheap at city/county auctions) and cutting the body off, shorten the frame (most buses have three driveshafts, so just bring the rearend up to meat the first driveshaft, and cut the excess frame) and stick on a classic truck body. you'd have a killer truck for a roll-off or car transporter. most of the old school buses have cat or detroit diesels with allison automatics, nice 22" budd wheels that you can trade out for alcoa alunimum wheels. yup, one of these days....
