What the Heck?

Saw this truck on Ebay I do not know what to think. Definatly not my style. But I guess a big fan of Nascar might like it.

Re: What the Heck?

That reminds me, there used to be a Vega years ago with the same exact paint scheme running around here. My thinking is, if you are going to spend the time and money to make it look good..... BUY A MONTE CARLO.

Re: What the Heck?

I'm a big NASCAR fan, but that's not my cup of tea either. I'll stick to wearing my "Army Strong" Mark Martin hats and drinking from my late 80s Richard Petty mugs. That's as supportive as I need to be .

Re: What the Heck?

Had a guy here where I live who had a Ford that was "tricked out" with a bunch of NASCAR stuff....decals, wheels and those tires with the yellow lettering. He liked it. I kinda thought it was childish.

Then, there's an Escort running around that has been painted with some kind of camoflage pattern, courtesy of a few leaves for patterns and a case of paint. Oh, the left rear tail light is scabbed on and not original, either. My son was really impressed when he came back from California and saw it for the first time.

Different strokes for different folks....

Re: What the Heck?

I have seen a lot worse schemes. Not my cup of tea, but I would drive it before a lot of others I have seen, especially on flea-bay.

Here is one I saw a couple years ago. Similar idea, just without the stickers

Re: What the Heck?

Aside from the Nascar paint scheme it appears to be a pretty solid truck with low miles. Would probably make a nice driver after a repaint.
