High and low pressure a/c port locations
Can anyone tell me which is the high pressure and which is the low pressure a/c ports on our trucks? Mine is a 71' Cheyenne with stock a/c.
Ports on the POA valve and a/c muffler but I'm not sure which is which? Thanks in advance. |

Re: High and low pressure a/c port locations
The port on the muffler over the compressor is the high side.
The port nearest the firewal on the POA is the low side. Last edited by DennyB; 08-08-2007 at 01:29 PM. |

Re: High and low pressure a/c port locations
I dont have a truck to look at right now, but the high side will go from the A/C comp to the drier and condenser. The low side is usually a larger hose and returns from the evaporater to the condenser.
