White?

Before I post a WTB, where white seatbelts and visors ever produced? I want to put them in my 72 C10 and I swear, I saw a set on here, that were in a 72 sub that the guy was switching over to a modern interior - I can't find it now.... it was an Ochra/white vehicle (very nice looking) and the pics looked like white to me. I didn't get a response back when I asked. He was changing over at the bequest of his wife, so she'd ride on a long trip in it.
ORam I seeing "off white"?
If they weren't made originally, anyone have any links to seatbelt "makers" that produce ones that look original? Thanks all!

Re: White?

I believe there was a parchment (off white). There may have been a white also, I've seen a couple of white interiors over the years. whether they were factory or aftermarket is unknown to me??

Free bump for ya

Re: White?

I have a forest green (and rust and primer) '71 that had white seatbelts, visors, doorpanels, etc. with a green and white trimmed seat ---

but because this truck is a serious beater, i cannot tell now whether these were bright white or off-white originally

I'd looked at their stuff but didn't find a white color choice - at this point, I don't really want to have a fully custom set made.... I'm afraid the wife would hang me with 'em!

Re: White?

My 72 has white door panels and white belts and white visors.

They're dirty now but I'd bet at one time they were probably pretty bright white.

Re: White?

My '72 Blazer has parchment (off-white)/sandalwood combo which has white/offwhite seats, seatbelts, visors and door panels. The dashpad, top of the dash, steering wheel and column are sandalwood.

I don't believe there was ever a "pure white" option. The off-white appears white though.

Re: White?

oldiron - that was it! Guess he's off on vacation for awhile.

So, how white is white? Not tryin to be difficult, just want to make sure I get what I intend to (and not be dissapointed)....
