Right hand drive

How hard would it be to convert my 70 swb to a right hand drive and can it be done.

GM made them, so I'd say it could be done... but I sure wouldn't wanna do it.

Re: Right hand drive

There is a member here who is presently working a RH conversion. I can't recall his user ID off the top of my head. Try the search function and see if it comes up. Either way TTT for ya!

Re: Right hand drive

Here ya go! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ght=hand+drive I think this guy lives where you drive on the LH side of the road. Any particular reason that you're wanting to perform this mod aside from saying that you did it?

Re: Right hand drive

unless your doing it for a show truck its a PITA for an everyday driver over there.

The only reason we convert them over here is so we don't need to carry a passenger with us all the time to tell you when its safe to overtake slower vehicles and so we don't need to put big CAUTION LEFT HAND DRIVE stickers on the rear windows and bumpers.

Having said its been done that many times over here so it is very possible to do. Its to bad its not a 73-87 model could send you all the parts to do it lol
