Shocks

I drive my truck mostly for fun, going to car shows and some visits to Home Depot. What brand and type of shocks would you recommend?

ECE KYB gas shocks. Good all around shocks.

I agree completely. I haven't got them on the truck yet, but they look like excellent quality. Early Classic charges I think $35 apiece for them, so total = $140.

I put rancho RSX's on my truck, i like the ride and it's prolly overkill since it's only 2wd but i've always preffered Rancho for my off roaders so i stuck with em..

I had good luck with Ranchos, but switched to ProComp Explorer shocks on both of my trucks. Performance equal to the Ranchos at minimum and significantly cheaper. Their top of the line non-adjustable was about the same as Ranchos cheapest.
