Progress and a new toy!!
Finally got some work done . Doesn't look like it since I took the frame apart again. I had to take it apart to be able to flip it over and get a good weld. I have repainted and will put it back together when its good and dry.
Also got a new toy. I have to build a stand for it or pick one up, but can't wait to try it out.

Re: Progress and a new toy!!
The frame looks great. I can't remember the name of the tool, however it is used in metal fabrication. I've seen it used on plenty of car programs (Trucks, American Chopper,....)

go to www.metalmeet.com. There are plenty of metal meets in your area...a few hours drive at least.
Where in AR are you?

Looks like a "Planishing Hammer" to me.I was just looking at some.Wish I had one and an "English Wheel" and especially the skill to use them well.

Re: Progress and a new toy!!
I picked this one up at harbor freight and it was only 129.00. Thats cheap compared to the 600 dollar ones I was looking at. A guy I know can build cars from flat sheet metal to driving car and he used the same one. He told me It would work fine, but the english wheel from there is not so great.
