Hey there from Puckett, Mississi-freakin-sippi. (That's just outside Jackson, by the way).
If you make it up to Madison, give us central-state guys a shout. There are 1/2 a dozen or more around here.

Re: Hello from Biloxi, Mississippi
Welcome to the board from Northern PA.
Nice looking ride you have there. My folks live in Miss. Mom in Poplarville, Dad in Columbia. He relocated from Waveland near Bay St. Louis after losing his house to Katrina, Sister relocated to Poplarville after losing her house as well. Visited the area back in March - what a mess from the destruction. Hopefully you have weathered the storm ok.

Re: Hello from Biloxi, Mississippi
Yep Ironhead, we did pretty well during and after the storm, we were very blessed and fortunate. I know several who lost everything and some who died. That being said, I'll never leave this area, bornand raised. Sorry to hear about your Dads house. I deliver to Waveland a few days a week and that place was just destroyed!! They are rebuilding pretty well though, the Bay St. Louis bridge recently opened too.

PCMCOBRA, why yes I did ride BMX in the 70s and 80s, why do you ask? Do you know me from Vintagebmx.com? I use the same screen name. I have ridden in Pensacola before too, did a AFA contest at Mariner mall.

Re: Hello from Biloxi, Mississippi
Well, your name is a spinoff from pk ripper the bike brand which was very popular in my bmx days. I started back in 76 riding for mopedsouth in Miami, back when everyone rode with an npsa card, before nbl. I rode puch, mongoose then thruster until about 81. Man we had some good times, traveled all over,
Wow, that brings back some memories. lol, junior high and my kuwahara and hutch trick star. My sisters all rode cooks brothers bikes. Small world, eh?

Re: Hello from Biloxi, Mississippi
Ah, very good!! Yes, its related to "P.K.Ripper" I have a gold one, baby blue, white, black, and candy apple blue PKs. Also a Kuwahara, Hutch Pro Racer, pit bike, Trickstar, Judge, SE Floval Flyer, Quadangle, Race Inc. RA-7 and RA-10, JMC Black Shadow, JMC Darrell Young, Mongoose, Supergoose, CW ZX Pro, CW TFM, Skyway T/A, Patterson Pro, and a few modern bmx bikes! You should check out www.vintagebmx.com, its a great website. I raced late 70s/early 80s and freestyled the remainder of the 80s. In the 90s I just rode, today when my back doesnt act up, I still get out and ride.
