Added another to the stable...
So I just picked this up today, three way deal between me and two pals. '69 3/4 ton 307/400 truck. I've been looking for a 3/4 ton beater for awhile since between my truck and my wife's, I don't like to use them as actual trucks.
This truck basically cost me around $100 in parts I traded for it. It's missing a couple of pieces like seat, alt, plug wires, radiator, trans cooler lines and linkage. But I have all these parts in stock. I hope to have it driving and reliable by the end of the month, I'll post some better pics when get a chance. And yes, it was a factory bucket truck, someone aready swiped them, it's bench seat bound now.

Re: Added another to the stable...
Thanks everyone, it's going to take some work to get it road worthy but I'm going to pull some favors from some friends I've been helping out lately with their project trucks. I worked on it for about 2 1/2 hours today and just need another hour or so and I should have it at least running.

Re: Added another to the stable...
O.k., it's all done and ready for the road. On top of the missing parts in my first post I also installed wheels, tires, master cylinder, wheel cylinder rebuild kits, carrier bearing, and I replaced the cam that was flat. With help from friends and parts donated I now have another $50 in it on top of the $100 purchase price. This thing is turning into a real money pit.
I took more pics but my computer doesn't want to upload them. And this pic to show how much of a sick-o I must look like to my neighbors.

Budget is cool.Nice picture.I hate driving by houses with mixed brands of various eras.Your place has a "well-kept" and organized vibe about it.Definately sends a message that this guy knows what he likes.
