Lockup Torque Convertor
Is the lockup torque convertor on the TH350C electronically or hydraulically controlled? I was wondering because if it is electric I would like to hook to a switch inside the cab so I can switch it off whenever I am towing.

Re: Lockup Torque Convertor
electric - there's a plug on the driver side of the tranny IIRC, that's what controls it

Re: Lockup Torque Convertor
A lockup converter has a clutch inside it that locks the two halves of the converter together at cruise speeds. This lowers the rpm, gives greater fuel economy and reduces heat in the tranny.
