Any have Heddman Elite Hedders

I am getting ready to put some new exhaust on my truck was thinking of going with the Heddman Elite Hedders with dual Flowmaster super 44's with turn downs in front of rear axles. Any comments on this setup.

Re: Any have Heddman Elite Hedders

I have the Elite long tubes on my 68 with Super 40's. Mine exits out behind the rear wheels. I love the way it sounds. I'll try to get a sound clip soon.

Re: Any have Heddman Elite Hedders

I have them for my big block.

They are a heavier gauge steel than most headers I've seen. Decent quality welds and ceramic coating. The thing I liked most though is they have a ball and socket type flange at the collector reducer instead of the old flat flange with a paper gasket.

Talking Re: Any have Heddman Elite Hedders

Well I got my headers(Heddman Elite) in today and i got 2 Flow Master 40 Series for a real good price so I bought them instead of the Super 44's.
