Re: Stepside or fleetside????
Yeah right????? No offense, my fellow Chevy brother...Step is It baby!!! Do you wanna play in the minors OR the majors?? When DA MAN invented short steps, it was a home run.....If you pick fleet, you might as well bought a Ford...

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
If you have a place to put it, get it, and then you can think about it a little - personally, I prefer fleetsides, but I like both.

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
Get it (if it's a good deal)! Even if you don't use it you can ALWAYS sell a short fleet bed.

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
Ditto - i like both styles - but a good short fleet bed is gold. If you dont use it, you might use it later on another truck - or sell it

Ditto. Check them both out. I like both, but I did the change over from step to fleet. Good Luck.

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
With this response I might be "step"ping in it but I had a good thought for a "Fleet"ing moment. Do what makes you happy. As said...you can always sell the fleetside bed if you decide not to use it. IMO

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
I prefer step...I think they look a little more sporty. But as long as it has a bowtie on it it'll work

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
Ok...my vote goes for the fleet...but it has been said...Fleet or Step...either looks good on a Chevy or GMC. You can't say that about the other manufactures.

Re: Stepside or fleetside????
Here's an idea if you have space and are a freak like me. They are both equally cool, I would have a hard time deciding too. I would go for the Fleetside for sure, but like an old girlfriend I wouldn't want to give up the stepper, so I'd keep her for special events since she's more curvy
Here's the idea: Get some kind of quick release bolts and make sure to fabricate all your wiring and fuel tanks to attach to the frame, not the bed, then paint them both the same color as the truck, and make it so you can unclip the bed and the tail light connector, and swap it out whenever you want!
