Best aftermarket A/C

Who makes the best aftermarket A/C? Old Air, vintage air, someone else?

Vintage Air

So far as I can say (from both personal experience and other people's expreiences and heresay) Vintage Air makes one very good product.

It works well, isn't too much of a pain to install, and the service is decent enough (heck, they used to have a guy that owned a coupla '68s and had the A/C on both of his, talk about tech support!). The only problem so far as I can see is that they know they have the best product and make you pay for it. They're expensive, especially if you have a (seemingly) minor detail that makes it so the base kit won't quite work. Any customizations get expensive in a hurry.

One other advantage is if you are building a major custom project or are used to luxury cars, they have this neat digital climate control that just rocks.

I have old air in my truck and if I had to do it all over again I would try vintage. Since my truck is a crew cab it takes forever to heat it up or cool it down. My neon blows air harder than the old air unit. With old air you only have two settings... air in your face or defrost. With my old stock unit I had one more setting to blow air to the floor. I'm not sure how many setting Vintage has.
