Question Engine Freshened ?

I have seen adds that say "Engine was freshened up recently ".

What would you define as freshened?

Re: Engine Freshened ?

That is a loaded question - Could be anything from an oil change to a major tune up - when people use that term when they are trying to sell a vehicle, I am of the opinion that they are trying to be vague, meaning, they did very little to freshen up the motor. When in doubt, ask specifically what was done to "freshen up" the motor. One other point - it's impossible to "freshen up" a turd. A turd is a turd. (Excuse my vocabulary).
