wheel cylinder part 2
So I had to special order my new wheel cylinders. I got them and comparing the old with the new and the new ones are slightly larger. I bolted them in and they seem to fit. They are a bit snug with the rubber boot against the backing plate a bit.
Do you think this is an issue? Anyone have a part number to suggest? This is what I have Raymold (Raybestos) Part Number: 2037026/right, 2037025/left Part Number: 2037026 Inlet Thread Size: 7/16-20 IN Bore Diameter: 1 1/8 IN Material Type: Cast Iron Grade: STANDARD Sub Brand: RAYMOLD Type: Wheel Cylinders Last edited by salazar44; 09-25-2007 at 10:20 PM. |

Re: wheel cylinder part 2
I just used a big adjustable wrench. They came out pretty easily. I guess I was lucky my threads were smooth and silky!
Let me know what brand and part number you get please! and also if the rubber boot is tight up against the backing plate. Thanks. |
