It begins!
This past weekend I decided I was going to cleanup the firewall and just generally spruce up under the hood. Well......one thing led to another and I decided to start the tear down of the front clip. I quess this is how all of this begins!!!

Re: It begins!
There are better transmissions as far as gearing spacing goes, and they obviously don't have overdrive, but there's nothing wrong with them. They are actually very reliable and durable. If you do use one, and you're planning on putting the shifter in the floor, do yourself a favor, and get a quality shifter. A cheap shifter will make you LOATHE a Sagi 3-three!

Re: It begins!
This is best 3 speed shifter I've found. You can get a Indy 3 speed shifter., but is not near as good as this one. The shifts are short and precise, and has positive stops. When adjusted correctly, I've never had one of these hang between 1st and 2nd.
