Brake drum help
Hi I have just bought new drums for the rear of my 1967 gmc leaf sprung 1/2 ton. The inside of drum seems the same 2''. Problem is new brake drum middle dont seem to be deep enough. When fitted seems to be 1/2'' gap to backplate. The centre bowled bit on old drum seems to be 1/2'' deeper. When I check brake sites online drums seem to list only one kind. Part number stamped inside old drum is 34990. Anyone tell me what I've got wrong ?? I cant just go to local parts shop as I am in Scotland and have to order from USA if I need parts so would like to find out if its me or parts shop thats got it wrong.
Thanks John |

Can anyone post a pic of a 1/2 ton and a 3/4 drum for a '67 leaf sprung truck.
