6 cyl Engine Removal
Anyone have pictures of where to hook up a 250 6 cyl engine to remove it with a cherry picker? I would like to remove it and the manual 3 speed tranny at the same time if possible. Thanks

Pull the valve cover( to keep from damaging it) and remove a head bolt from front and rear of the motor and on opposite sides. Put the bolts back in through a piece of short chain, then hook hoist to chain.

Mine has two large factory looking attachment points... going to try to link to the new gallery images... if it doesn't work, I'll just post the pic... here goes....
