OK...I've seen different tanks used....anything from the Blazer/Sub tank to a Camaro tank, to the Brothers aluminum tank (installing one in my customers 67..link below)

The alumnum jobber is nice, but pricey.

The Blazer/Sub tank seems to hang low...

What tanks are you guys running ??

I've had enough of the tank behind the seat...so has my wife and kids, so it's time !!

This wil be for my '63

I installed the nolimit version and I love both the look and fit. Yes, a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I had originally installed a poly blazer tank, but since my truck is lowered, it hung too low.

How much does your tank hang below the bottom of the frame rails?

I don't have a picture showing how far it hangs below the frame rails....however, here are the dimensions of the tank. If I remember, I will take a photo this evening and post it for you.

I have been looking at the tanks in NoLimits' catalog, but the one diminsion they don't give is from the mounting lip down to the bottom of the tank. It is probably a question they could answer, if I ever get around to calling them.

A measurement would be great - a pic even better

Can you mount that tank with out pulling the bed?

The kit comes with J-Bolts...so if you positioned the tank/drilled the holes correctly, you could bolt it up from the bottom of the chassis. However, running the sending unit, grounding the sending unit, routing fuel lines, and the filler would be extremely tricky with the bed on.

Never say never though....

there's a guy that has a truck build in the build section that used a 69 camaro/firebird gas tank that fills from behind a flip down license plate. it's under "back in black"

Fuel Cell Guy built mine to my specs couple years ago for a very reasonable price. It's notched for more capacity (almost 24 gal.) and the corners are chamfered for better exhaust clearance.

Don't know if Mark (Fuel Cell Buy) is doing any more of these or not.....someone on here probably knows.

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
