Air Bag Know-It-Alls
Okay from talking to Slammed67 and NSane68 about the rear air bag mounting, for trailing arm 67-72's I was told that you just need plain old brackets welded to the frame and to the trailing arms. Is this picture what your talking about.
Thanks!! Jared

You don't even need a bracket for the rear if you can drill holes accurately.

You can install the rear bags by drilling 3 holes.
2 - 3/8" holes for the bag mount studs on top 1 - 3/4" - 7/8" hole for the air line fitting ...and no holes on the bottom - just sit the bag right on the control arm and run the bolt thru the hole in the control arm that's already there for the coil spring. I just did this exact install last weekend on my truck. As long as you can read a tape measure and operate a drill...you can do the rears....no brackets needed. YEA!!! What they said, and stuff. LOL They all got it on the money, you don't need any plates for the rear.

Okay, well that does it, I finally understand. I'm a moron, probably would have made more sense if I had an actual air bag to look at. Thanks again guys, once again, I am not disappointed.
