13 WEEKS....wheels here at last!!
My wheels finally got here. I initially ordered cast center American 5 spokes, but after 10 weeks American couldn't give anyone a straight answer on when they might be done, so Dave at Newstalgia switched me over to Vintecs. I ordered dished Vintecs, but the regular ones came...PISS!! I think I can live with them, cuz I don't wanna go through the hassle of shipping em back.
Putting wheels on is like the Crowning moment!!....I've looked at this think soooo long now with the old beat up 200S's.....What a fricken change...I can't stop staring at it! Just gotta finish up the interior, front fenderwells, get it aligned.....I'll get it done just in time for WINTER!!

Had the components on it for a long time...stepped A-arms and springs. I think It's about 3.5 in the front and between 6 & 7 in the rear. Tires are Toyo Proxes ST's.

Re: 13 WEEKS....wheels here at last!!
Yours is not the first American horror story. Their customer support people have been feeding the customers lies for atleast 2 years that I know of.
After seeing there recent business practices first hand ...I will NEVER own a set!

Re: 13 WEEKS....wheels here at last!!
Maybe 13 weeks will be my lucky number as well. I ordered my new wheels from Budnik 12 weeks ago yesterday. They're "supposed" to be finished next week. I know quality takes time, but jeez!
Anyway, congrats on the wheels. They look awesome!

Re: 13 WEEKS....wheels here at last!!
Thanks again all.
12 weeks for Budniks....ouch. When I made the switch to the Vintecs, it only took 3 weeks for them to get here.....should've just ordered them to begin with!

Mine originally had the uppers and I got rid of em because I really love the way the upper body rolls into the lower and that molding interupts that. Also the lower molding by itself visually pulls the truck closer to the ground.
