Another Carb Question

I've been following the thread below on Carb Choice and I'd like to ask another question. I know that I'm going to go with another QJet carb for my truck, but I'm not sure exactly where the best place is to get one. Has anybody ever bought one of the remanufactured carbs that are on ebay all the time. I'm looking at one right now on ebay from a company called I-5 Components http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ROCHE...spagenameZWDVW. Their carbs look good (on the screen), but I have no idea how good a job they do. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Another Carb Question

If you have the original Q-jet, get it rebuilt locally, and you won't have to worry about calibration or whether everything will hook up the same.

Re: Another Carb Question

Ditto on what Jimfulco said. If I were to buy one outright I would probably go to Jet Performance www.jetchip.com They're not inexpensive, but they are very very good.

Re: Another Carb Question

Picked up my rebuilt Qjet from Carb Direct 4 yrs ago and she runs like a top, wish I would have kept the original but at the time I needed a carb NOW !!! no problems with this carb.
