another steering question
Where should I start as far as improving the steering on my 70 blazer with a 2.5 with 33's? It drives pretty well but every once in a while feels like it's going to jump off the road to the right. Then when I straighten it out it goes to far to the left and I have to pull it back to the right. Does this make sense or sound familiar to anyone? I'm trying to describe it as best as I can but I don't know anything about steering. I brakes in a straight line if that means everything. The steering box does leak from where the shaft goes in.

Re: another steering question
Sounds like something is amiss in the alignment.

Re: another steering question
Sounds like a broken torsion rod in the box. This is what keeps the spool valve, that directs the high preasure ps fluid in the box to assist turning. When the rod is broken, wichever way you turn the wheel gets full assist untill you manualy forc the spool valve the other way. One way to test for this, is with the engine running if you move the steering wheel one way and the wheel keeps turning by itself, the the torsion rod is broken.

Re: another steering question
I had a set of biasply tires that acted like that. I put up with it for a couple years. When i changed my tires it went away.
