Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
Ya'll calm down, I was just kidding! I just always hear people say the XX-XX is the more popular, and I was just curious as what the masses on this board thought since its the biggest concentration of 67-72 truck lovers on the planet. So you GMC guys should just vote for which Chevy you think is the least hideous!

I honestly didnt think the stepside versus fleetside was a debate. Fleetside trumps stepside BIG TIME! Actually i have seen so many clean GMC and stepside it is just great to see a fixed up 67-72 truck no matter the style/type.

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
I own a '71 Chevy C-10, but of the Chevy pickups I like the 67-68 grills best.
Actually I liked the grill that was in the '72 GMC I owned for about 15 years best. Of course I have been told before, how should I say it, am unique. Danny - Southeast Missouri |

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
Personally I think it's played out to put a 67-68 front on a truck thats not a 67 or 68 (not that you can tell it's really a 68)
But IMO "If it ain't 67, it ain't Sh!t" (68's don't count to me, they're just the same as any other 69-72 that has a 67 wanna be grill) I like both GMC's & Chevy's, but only 67's (I really do like the 4 headlights on GMC's though) Obviously I'm biased... lol But if I had anything other than a real 67, it'd be a 71-72 with phantom grill Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 10-08-2007 at 07:13 PM. |

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
Well.since the only Chevy grilles that even come close to GMC quality are the 67/68 ones I`ll vote for those along with all the other newbies.Chevy went plastic 4 years before their big brother GMC.Ever wonder how much better a 67/68 would look with the other two headlights they forgot?

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
I like them all. But for some reason 71-72 looks like a mean look I guess. Like the 71-72 Chevelles....I like the 72 the best even though they are very close to each other.

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
Tough call, as a 71/72 guy I'm always drawn to 67/68's. I'd probably even trade my truck for the right 67/68.
