CST or CHEYENNE

I am looking at 2 different trucks and don't know which one to choose
(1) 71 cheyenne stepside w/ac ($10000) or (2)70 cst stepside no ac ($6500)-both are shortbeds and in the same condition, even the same color
which is worth more? They both have the spare on the side of the bed.

Re: CST or CHEYENNE

Definitely the '71 with air cond and 5 lug wheels and disc brakes, IF they are, infact, in the same condition.

To the board!

Re: CST or CHEYENNE

I gotta imagine a Cheyenne step is kinda rare. Seems most Cheyennes I've seen are fleets.

Re: CST or CHEYENNE

Hard to say.For $3,500 you could put a/c and 5-lug discs on the `70 trucks.A CST Stepside is as rare as a Cheyenne Stepside. They are both basically the same thing with a name change from CST in`70 to Cheyenne in `71.

Re: CST or CHEYENNE

I would dig in pretty deep and see why there is a $3500 discount on the 70.
Special K is dead on, for 3500 bucks, you could have your disks, and a modern A/C system.
