my build
hello i am new on here but i have been looking on this website for a long time and i though i would share my build. it is a 1971 cheyenne 10. It has a zz4 350 an it has a 2/4 drop....this is the only picture i have of it right now i will post later today.

i fount some more pictures of it. please exsuse the dust i had to bring it home because me and my dad started doing body work on the cab a few weeks ago. we are hoping to shoot some VIPER RED on it by the end of this month. hope you like it

Well i was tryin to finish puttin my brake lines on today and a notice that the transmission crossmeber dident have any bolts where it bolts to the top of the frame and the holes dont even line up. is it soposted to be like this or what.

well i wet sanded on the cab a little today and got my uncle to spray some black on the bottom of the cab(because the the bottom of the cab wont be painted red). i am goin to try to finish wet sanding it after school tomorrow and hopefully get it painted by friday. and i will try to get some pictures of it by then.

You need cross member bolts...weird they're missing. Are there some on the bottom part of the frame, there must be. If there are none on the bottom a hit from a mallet should line up the upper holes, even if there are bolts in the bottom you should try and get the tops in. It could have been a standard at one time and someone slipped in the tranny x member when they swapped to auto but couldn't reach the tops and said "f it"

Spoof. yes there are bolts in the bottom...i will go get a peice of wood and a mallet and knock the crap out of it hopefully it will line up.

well i tried about every thing i knew to do and it still dident budge so i guss when me and my dad take it back down to the garage to put the cab on ill take the two bottom bolts out and line it up then.

well not alot of progress but i did go out to the garage and take some pictures
i got this a couple of weeks ago This is the drivers side front fender its in pretty good shape compared to the passenger side which we cut wat was left of the un rusted metal to patch the floor on the cab which was rusted really bad the hood is in good shape and this is my daily driver. a 2005 yamaha yz 250 (and yea the neibors get mad when i ride it around the yard but o well) |

thanks for the comments and the first coat of paint is por 15 which looked pretty good but i thought it needed a top coat so my dad sprayed some kind of black paint on it.... i forgot the name of it but its shiny

not much been going on exept trying to figure out ho wthe front brake lines go but now that my dads home from new jersey things should start getting done alot faster hopefully because im hoping to finish it before i get my lisense in Janurary.

well after a full day pof work we got the cab and the doors and some other stuff water sanded and we got the shop wet down so we can paint it tomorrow!!! here is some pictures of it as of now....but it will not look like this for much longer
