I'm a "REDNECK" and I wouldn't do that! Damn that's tackier than a G-String on Rosie O'Donnell.

And the 267 was put in mid and small size cars a few years like the short lived Monza and I believe some Malibus had them. V8 engine with better mpg for those who just had to have a V8.

Re: Grampa was PIMPIN!
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the 267 first available in the Monza's? I know that the '80 Malibu my wife had when we got married had one in it. But I'm thinkin' that the Monza's were the first GM cars to get it. Probably as scarce as a 252 Buick V-6, but not as scarce as the variations of GM Diesels, like the diesel V-6 in the late 70's/early 80's Olds Cutlasses. Anybody seen one of those, lately?
I think Grampaw was just doin' what he knew to do, livin' in the south part of Tennessee. Cars was for runnin' 'shine. "Gonna gussy up the pickup, Maw." Boog....yeah, even to imagine Rosie in a G-string is makin' it difficult to keep my oats down, this morning.

Wow...can we say grampa wanted a semi? I am surprised it doent have marker light all over it. The one thing I didnt see was west coast mirrors and cb antennas mounted to them.

Re: Grampa was PIMPIN!
Take all the JC Whitney add ons off and it might be worth $1000. I dunno if I'd want the 267 V-8. How hard would it be to find parts for that.

Re: Grampa was PIMPIN!
I love the "very rare 267 V-8 engine, not original to the truck".
I guess that makes it worth more!! Last edited by fastom; 10-13-2007 at 04:31 PM. |

Re: Grampa was PIMPIN!
Each time I look at this truck I see more JC Whitney products. But where are the fog lights on top of the bumper? And the one's on the rear bumper?
