61 4x4 body on 84 k5 blazer frame.

Has anyone done this? I have one I can buy, but I was wondering if anyone has any pointers on doing this swap? Thanks.

If I had the original short 4wd I would just keep it and not swap it over to the newer chassis. There isn't much advantage to it except the availabity of a lift kit,but you can get one custom made for a 60-66.I'd imagine at the least you would have to lengthen chassis, and make body mounts.I don't know what all is involved though.

Seams like alot of work and not much of a return unless your origanl frame is rusted through and needs alot of repair.
