Seat Question

I was looking in the LMC book andi noticed that they do not offer seat covers with arm rests...Im sure that ive seen trucks with fold down arm rests and the full bench seats so the question that begs to be asked is did GM offer ( especially in the higher end models ) an armrest or a split bench seat as a factory option?

Re: Seat Question

Not on 73-87(91) trucks.
BTW, we have upholstery kits availible for these trucks also at a comparable price to LMC.

ORC10 -

I've been seriously lookin at mid to late 90's Grand Marquis seats. I know they're from that F company. But, Low-Backed with low, adjustable headrest, Electric, overstuffed Leather, and look to be a near perfect width. And has 2 fold down armrests - allowing for 3 across seating. AND, PnP has them for less than $50 bucks!!

(I think I just talked myself into it...)

Kinda like these. But with lower head rests.

Re: Seat Question

Are you looking for inexpensive (donor) or a new seat?

I have see a 73-87 with a 88-90 bench with the small armrest in it. Didn't look too bad either. This is the best pic I have of it. I was looking at it for purchase but it was too damaged

FWIW that's a 91+ seat, it has headrests.

Re: Seat Question

Anbody know how much of a pain these would be to install? A cousin gave me a seat exactly like this yesterday.

Also, do you guys know where I can get a new cover for this kind of seat? The one I was given is blue, and the rest of my interior is red.

Re: Seat Question

I sell seat covers for those seats. For the 88-95 version it is $229.95 for cloth and $199.99 for vinyl. Shipping cost not included and I will have to check on the headrests also.

Re: Seat Question

Chris, I'll give you a yell if I get this one mounted up successfully. I don't remember if it has headrests or not.
