Is it worth doing?
OK, I am still stuck with my blazer and I REALLY need it gone. So, I'm toying with the idea of getting it in good running order so someone could drive it home.
I currently have the price at $2900 and would expect to spend $200 to $300 to get it running good. So my question is, is it worth doing this and if so, how much should I ask for it in good running condition. oh, here is the 'for sale' thread for the blazer. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=259807 thanks for your help

Re: Is it worth doing?
Running would help a lot. There are a lot of people afraid to buy a non-running or poorly running truck. The issue is you never know what is really wrong with it until you tear into it.
A coat of resell red might help too.

Re: Is it worth doing?
thanks for the input guys, I'll probably at least get it running good. I'm not sure about painting it-I don't want to drop the $$ into it and have it sit for another year like it has so far.

Re: Is it worth doing?
Put a cheap earl cheib paint job for $300 and just be honest and tell the buyer that it is a cheap paint job. Since most people mostly care about looks and it is usually an emotional buy when you get a blazer you will probably get $4k for it!
