WIW & wanted

I've seen posts from new members for wanted or WIW today.
Keep in mind they are NEW members. With only one or two posts ever.

How about welcoming our newest members, and nicely informing them of the rules that they aren't aware of. There is no need to be short, or rude about it.. Lets keep the new members around. It is very easy for a new member to miss the rules section, and post a WIW or wanted

Re: wanted

I'm going to assume this is directed at me. You are right, I got a little snippy. I have just been seeing alot of it lately and it feels a little like people are coming here to troll for parts or sell stuff rather than joining and contributing or seeking the knowledge of the board. Once again I apologize. I was wrong. Now I'll go to my corner.

While I agree with the sentiment, you do HAVE to click AGREE to the rules to become a member....therefore you should have read them and should follow them.

Re: wanted

This is true Krue, but there is alot to read over, and some click without reading it all. I know they shouldn't, but I bet alot of the members on here have.

I think we should just cut them a brake. some of the things I like about this board is we kinda look out for one another, and were like family. I really don't see people attacking each other or being rude to one another. I'm sure most new people that post wrong don't do it just to get over on the board. They just don't know. It may get old seeing these posts from new members, it looks like you guys have been around for a long time, over 1,800 post and over 32,000 posts...try to remember when you first became a member, there's alot of information and forums. It's easy to overlook the rules about wiw and for sale even if it dosn't seem like it to a vet.
