72 cst10--what seats will fit?
My seats are all to hell. I was looking at getting complete new ones, but cant find any full sets of seats. I'd like to keep bench seating, and my fuel tank is still sitting behind the seat.
Any suggestions? Ballpark costs? |

I`d just fix your seat unless it`s worse that I can imagine. Then,I`d get another original seat and repair/restore.You can use later seats from trucks, though.A used seat will cost less than having your`s redone. But,nothing fits and works like factory.

Special K is right, of course -- but the price of bottom foam is pretty high from a lot of places unfortunately
1988 - '98 seats fit with just drilling a few holes (usually) -- I have '88 buckets and just made a trim panel for the back that is carpeted to cover the fuel tank |

Re: 72 cst10--what seats will fit?
I pulled a 60/40 bench seat out of a 94 silverado and fit just fine with a mod to the middle of the brackets. also a straight bench seat out of these silverados area perfect fit.

Re: 72 cst10--what seats will fit?
60/40 Out of a late 80's, early 90's chevy. Basically 88-98 seats fit well and although they aren't a direct bolt in, it's pretty easy to do. Picked these up a number of years back at a garage sale for $100.
The other pic is just a regular bench out of a basic (88-98) truck. I bought it off Craiglist for $20!
