Help Me Pick Some Colors!!

So I am building a 67 shorty fleet shop truck... I want to go with a flat color with a gloss roof, grill shell and interior metal.... I like flat black but there are just way to many already... My thoughts are flat gold with a gloss white or black roof/grill...... Flat white with a gloss silver, red or gray roof/grill..... Flat blue with a gloss white or silver roof/grill or flat silver with a gloss white, black or red roof/grill.... Or olive drab green/brown with a white or black roof/grill I am SOOO confused... Give me your thoughts cause from what I see alot of you guys have the vision!!! Thanks!

Re: Help Me Pick Some Colors!!

I think a flat '68 anniversary gold with a gloss white top would look good.

Re: Help Me Pick Some Colors!!

Yeah, the flat gold with gloss white top would be different. Being that it is a shop truck, you have options. For me, knowing the same work goes into the prep to paint it a flat color, finally led me to deciding on a glossy finish for mine. I was dead-set on a suede black with glossy flames, but decided to go glossy all the way.

My painter dude has plans to paint his Blazer/67/Shortstep hybrid in flat black and add camo flames. It oughta be sweet, huh?

Re: Help Me Pick Some Colors!!

They all look good.

Blue on white always looks right.

Black and green looks mean.

Gold on black is "all that!" With a set of curb feelers and gold wire wheels, it could be pulled off!

My vote: Blue on White

Re: Help Me Pick Some Colors!!

I say GOLD for sure.

Black looks unfinished and to me so does the green. And Ive never been big on blue. How would a Yellow or orange look?

But that anniversary look is sick

I'd go with a Hot Rod Flatz Firemist Shade. Make it look like an old custom job
