Question about "Super" emblems

I read that super cheyennes were first avalible in 72', but my 71' has super on the glove box emblem. So my question is about the "super" fender emblem. In restoring mine back, I'm not sure if they were ever placed on 71's or if mine were removed before I got it 15 years ago. Thanks for any help!

"Supers" were first built in 1971. My 71 Super has them on the glove box and the fenders. Here is a pic of mine. Good luck!!!

The glove box emblems are different between 71 and 72... 72 have scroll in them. But the 72 I looked at last week didnt have scrolls. So it may have been a 71 emblem used in a 72.
