We were visiting the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. once and there was a family of 4 staring up at Lincoln in confusion. One of the kids blurted out "waddaya do with it?" And the mom smacked the boy on the head and barked back "you just look at it!" For some reason we decided they were from Iowa... my family now makes it a point to retell that story EVERY time we see even the slightest bump-in-the-road-turned-monument.

And, last but not least... for anyone offended... it's a JOKE! Just like the jokes about "Texas... where the men are men and the sheep are scared." See... funny, joke, good, laugh.
