69 gmc fenders?
i know this is has been on here before but didn't find my answer. If i have a 69 gmc, what can I do, or what is needed to convert to a 67/68 chevy. are the fenders the same and hood. All i've had is 70,71,72 chevy's. i haven't got the 69 yet so i'm wanting to know what the difference is. Can the 69 be changed to a chevy front end and if so, what is the easiest year to change to. thanks

Re: 69 gmc fenders?
easy way, would be to locate a whole front clip off a 68.
Everything will need chainged out on your front clip as it stands, EXCEPT your fenders and inner fenders. The hood, grill, core support, splash pan and bumper. |

Core support can be used ,but won't have the holes for the splash pan.

Re: 69 gmc fenders?
your best bet is to locate a whole 67 or 68 chevy front clip. 69 fenders are a different cut in the front as well as the hood. Inner fenders should match up good. As for the rad. support. your gmc is a 4 headlight whereas the chevy is a single headlight. I dont think it would be too hard to modify but If you can find the 67 68 chevy rad support, I would think you`d be better off using that.

Re: 69 gmc fenders?
You can use your front fenders and that is about it GMC had the same design fender as the 67-68 Chevys the onl difference is the two holes in the front front for the eyebrow trim
