New truck

I bought an 84 k-10 today, it has the 305 700r4 np 208 drive train. It drives really well for an old truck!! I'm going to feel bad tearing it apart to use all the drive train, and springs and spring perches for my 61 4x4.

Re: New truck

Check out that winch bumper!!! I got the stock bumper also in the deal. I feel bad to tear it apart because its so rust free. All I can say is watch the classified section in a month or two, I'll have some good parts for sale!!

Re: New truck

watch out for the gears! they're notorios for having 2.73s in them in that era. you want at least a 3.73 for a 31-33" tire.

Re: New truck

Holy huge front bumper Batman!!! That's not a bumper that's a work platform.

Nah, really I wouldn't feel too guilty about using the parts on your 61. You can sell off what you don't need for the body to a guy that has a 73-87 that needs it. The truck will live on in the trucks it's parts makes it on to.
