Re: Pics of Radios in the A/C hole

It went right in.
I used the metal tray that all the new radio's come with that allows you to slide it in and out with those little tools.

On each side of it I have a piece of ABS Plastic about 1/2" wide to fill in the gap. You can hardly see it though, it shows up a little in those pics.

Orange that looks slick, modern but still with the old school touch. I might play around with this abit on a spare dash I have laying around. How would it look if you were to take a second radio section and "section" the dash and make the old radio space wider to fit the control and two vents! Then take a bit out of the old ac area to fit the radio just right?

Kevin,

Kind of like this? I do not like the factory center vent as I never sit in the middle seat and thought this might work a little bit better for airflow to the back seat or just all for me.

We played with that a bit before Kevin.
We took some Billet street rod dash rod vents that were really nice that put them in there. It would be pretty slick actually if someone would do it.

Even had one of that concept with just a touch panel radio in the center of the dash - or a radio in the bottom slot (factory control location) and a DVD/Navigation screen in the center above it.
