Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

im running that wheel combo on my 86
5.5" bs on back, and 5.25 up front.
245/40 front
295/45/20 rear
no issues at all, could probably go with a little bigger tire up front.

Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

I have been looking for about year on what I was going to get. And I have just ordered them.

Here is what you need.

front 8.5 wheel BS 5" with 245-40-20 or 255-40-20
Back 10 wheel BS 4.5 with 295-40-20 this will give you a little dish.

I disagree here on the rear back space:
Should be 5.5 on a 10" wheel.

Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

Sorry that you do, but I have a 9.5 with 3.5 BS on it. It's a stock 12 bolt out of a 4x4 blazer. Here is the pic.

Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

I have 20x10's w 5.25 BS... I was going to go 5.00 but I run the disc covers and a 1/4 spacer as well. (I use the 1/4 spacer to keep my dust covers off of the drum weights; so they dont get dented)

Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

Thanks again for all the info. The 5 to 5/14 inch backspace looks like the way I need to go if I want a 20x10 to tuck without rubbing. If anyone has any good pics of 20 I would like to see them.

Re: 20 inch wheels with 5/7 drop

Rear 20x10's w/the equivalent of 5" BS was dead-on for my daily 5/7 static-dropped driver..... As you can see in the pic, the rear tires are slightly tucked @ ride height.
