carb issues
I have an 84 silverado and I picked up a working quadrajet from a 85 silverado that has an electrical plug on top. How do I get this carb to work on my truck without having the wiring for the dual capacity pump? If there is a simple solution please help.

Re: carb issues
The best suggestion I could make is to add the wiring. It's just 12 volts through a thermostatic switch. That lowers the fuel pump capacity once the water temperature rises above the set point.
You could probably salvage it off of a truck in a junk yard. You could just wire it hot all the time, but then cold temp operation would not be as good. Hope this helps.
